Camilla Greenwell is a director and photographer whose work explores human connection. With a background in visual arts and dance, she has spent the past decade capturing the intersection of reality and performance, often focusing on movement, intimacy and the stories that unfold within those spaces.
Through her photography, Camilla seeks out glimmers of surrealism within the everyday, as well as mundane moments in the fantastical. Creating stunning visual narratives, she invites the viewer in on her process as much as the final image.
her clients include Apple, TOAST, the telegraph, vogue, FT WEEKEND, sadler’s wells, the royal ballet and opera and the Guardian.
She was a winner of the british journal of photography x nikon female in focus award, 2025 and her image of the artist gertraud platschek was selected for the taylor wessing portrait prize, 2025. her image of artist hetain patel was shortlisted in 2024.
